Castle Tire and 2X Recycling are joining forces

Effective Date: January 1, 2022

What’s the news? Castle Tire and 2X Tire Recycling are joining forces with a focus on improving the quality of tire waste collection services in Idaho. The united efforts will improve the customer experience while also commercializing new technologies that improve the quality of post life tire products. Effective January 1st, 2022, all 2X Tire Recycling customers will be serviced by the local Castle Tire team.

John Malletta of 2X Tire Recycling  (2xrecycling.com)

“We couldn’t be more pleased with our current direction and focus. Castle provides an excellent opportunity for growth that 2X Tire Recycling would have taken a decade to accomplish on its own. Joining forces with Castle improves overall efficiency which helps our customers and considerably reduces our carbon footprint at the same time. Castle Tire has a great system in place to collect and process more efficiently than 2X was capable of. We are very confident that all of our customers and stakeholders will benefit!”

Chandos Mahon, CEO of Castle Tire (CastleTireRecycling.com)

“We look forward to working with John and the 2X team. They’ve done a great job servicing  the local Boise community, and we are honored to be stepping in as the service provider going  forward. John’s team is working on an exciting 2022 product launch that will be made from the  tires we recycle, and we are thrilled to be part of it. More details to come next year.”
